Britain insisted the crew was on a routine operation when seized — but Sky News reported Thursday that Royal Marine Capt. Chris Air said in an interview days before his capture that his crew was gathering intelligence on Iran during their patrols. Sky said it held the interview because it thought it could hamper the crew's release.
Sky News posted a video of a British sailor telling the reported BEFORE they were captured about gathering "int" during their patrols. Funny, the mainstream US/UK media is downplaying this part of the incident so much. In fact, after 20 hours of initial report and video on Sky News - I found only 35 google news articles on this specific issue. Usually, when something major occurs, you'll see 200 articles in 2 hours...
