We all had our share of bad bosses... Lets share some stories and vent out....:D
Here is a story i found on workingamerica.com:D
Personal Slave (by Stacey)
My boss at my last job had a huge ego and a terrible temper. It was a small company, and we all became somewhat of his personal assistants - but me more than the rest.
One of my first jobs was to hire him a housekeeper, which I was then supposed to pay through the company payroll. Other tasks included paying his rent, phone bill, etc., and one day getting his sprinkling system worked on.
The day after the sprinkling system was being installed, I was sitting at my desk and got the call. The receptionist warned me it was him, so I pleasantly got on the phone and said, "Good Morning, ____". I was greeted with, "Why don't I have any f------ water?!" I was taken back, and replied dumbly with, "what?" He proceeded to rant and rave about how I must not have paid his water bill and how I'd better get it fixed right away. I got off the phone with him and another employee came in to see what was wrong. We called the water company and the city and they were sure everything should be working properly. She decided maybe he meant his bottled water. I wasn't too sure about that but she proceeded to call him and say, "We're a little confused. Did you mean your city water, or your bottled water?" Oh, that was the wrong thing to ask! "Do you think I pour f------ bottled water over my head to take a shower?! Get it fixed or you're fired!"
Well, after thinking about the sprinkling system, we called the company and asked them if there was anything they could have done to make it so there was no water. They went back to the house and realized they had never turned the main valve back on. Thanks for almost getting me fired.
Even worse, my boss never apologized for the misunderstanding. Actually, he came in and sternly told me that I was never to use that sprinkling company again. I finally found a new job and gave my notice. Then he actually called my new boss and told her he was going to sue her for stealing his employees!
Can you guess why I don't work there anymore!?
