i hope that a thread like this wasn't opened before. I would like to read quotes from Caliphs or Rulers like Abu Bakr, Alparslan, Amir Temur etc. On the Internet i couldn't find any from Amir Temur or Alparslan or Sultan Suleyman. But there are many Quotes from European rulers.

please share them with me if you know some.

Once the Prophet told his Companions. Egypt will be conquered after me. Be kind and benevolent to its people. Deal with them gently. For, there is kinship and duty (dhimma) between you and them. (Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, Tarikh al-Umam wa’l-Muluk, 4, 228)

Centuries ago, before the conquest of Anatolia and Constantinople, he foretold that the victorious armies of Islam would arrive at the gates of Europe, and gave tidings that Constantinople (now Istanbul) would be conquered by Muslim hands. Many attempts were made to realize this and be worthy of the encouragement in these words of the Prophet: Constantinople will be conquered. Blessed is the commander who will conquer it, and blessed are his troops (Ibn Hanbal, Musnad, 4, 335). Since that city was itself a symbol of a large dominion, the Prophet was thus directing his umma to carry Islam all over the world.

It is impossible for me without mentioning the fights on the Bomb Hill. Distance between trenches is about eight metres, That's to say, death is certain... The soldiers in the first trench are completely dying and the second group replaces them immediately with such great resignation and coldness that noone can imagine. I, THE SULTAN MEHMET - KHAN INFORM ALL THE WORLD THAT THE ONES WHO POSSESS THIS IMPERIAL EDICT, THE BOSNIAN FRANCISCANS, HAVE GOT INTO MY GOOD GRACES, SO I COMMAND:

LET NOBODY BOTHER OR DISTURB THOSE WHO ARE MENTIONED, NOT THEIR CHURCHES. LET THEM DWELL IN PEACE IN MY EMPIRE. AND LET THOSE WHO HAVE BECOME REFUGEES BE AND SAFE. LET THEM RETURN AND LET THEM SETTLE DOWN THEIR MONASTERIES WITHOUT FEAR IN ALL THE COUNTRIES OF MY EMPIRE.

This Ahdnama, which brings independence and tolerance to the ones who are from another religion, belief and race, is written by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, after the conquest of Bosnia-Herzogovina, in May 28'th, 1463. The origin of the Ahdnama is at the Franciscan Catholic Church in Foznica, in Bosnia-Herzogovina. The Ahdnama has been recently arised and published by the Ministry of Culture, for the 700'th anniversary of the foundation of the State of Ottoman. The edict was issued the Sultan Mehmet II El Fatih to protect the basic rights of Bosnian people when he conquered Bosnia-Herzogovina in 1463. The original edict is still kept in Franciscan Monastery in the vicinity of Fojnica. The Ahdnama of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, oldest Human Rights Declaration known in history, written in 1463, it was announced. 326 years before 1789 French Revolution, 485 years before 1948 International Human Rights Declaration.
