well this statement would be true if youd say "audi", cuz they actually share the same materials for their cars but audi's are more expensive then the vw's.

But audi is more luxurious. I don't know about other countries, but in general VW's prices increased dramatically. For example my friend bought a brand new 2.0 Golf for $16500 in 2003. But last summer my brother got 2.0 Golf for $21300 which is relatively high price.

there is difference between those golfs, the one your friend bought is from 2003 and is the previous model the golf 4, ofcourse the new one will cost much higher then the older models.
also try to compare it to audi a3, which is from the same segment and costs around 23k dollars with standart options.

c'mon...
it's known that Audi is owned by VW and it is not practical for the same company to produce two competing cars. Audi is at higher class than VW. If we want to know how different they are we should have a look at the standard specifications of both cars. Currently I'm looking for that. I've just found the Golf's. Can you pls look for the A3's.

today i used audi a4 and i didnt like it,cos it was slim, poor and smaller then passat, really big dissapointed i was thinking audi a4 and a6 are much better than passat but i changed my mind today i say passat forever and i wont sell it :D
