Useful. Thank you.
This is modern Naksibendi, I would have liked to know more about their history, especially in Uzbekistan.
Was Alisher Navoyi a naqshibendi?
tomorrow InshaAllah I will post a detailed answer about Naqshabadi.

Naqshabandiya is a Sufi Tariqa named after Shiekh Bahauddin bin "son of" Muhammed bin "son of" Muhammed Al-Bukhari who is called "Shah Naqshaband" 618-691 Hijri. It is similar to the Shazeli Tariqa and it is mostly exisit in Iran, India and western asia.
They have their own way of Zikr and it is by repeating "Allah, Allah....". And when the get "excited" they say "Ho, Ho, Ho....." which means "Him, Him, Him..." in Arabic refering to Allah.
unfortunately the source I was counting on didn't have that much of details:(.
but for more info visit
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naqshbandi
they have their own site
http://www.naqshbandi.org/
but it doesn't contain useful information, it is mostly their own point of view!

IIRC that tarikat did first exist around 15-16th century.
