Salom hammaga.
Very soon I'll be receiving my PR status in Canada,however I reside in US at this moment. Is there anyone with PR (same as US Green Card) status in Canada? If yes what would you suggest with regards where to live in Canada in terms of employment? Also can you give some info on Accounting field perspectives with US MBA in Canada.
Javoblaringiz uchun oldindan raxmat, omad hammaga. :cool:

A friend of mine (from Germany) has been living in Canada as a PRC holder for more than 30 years. But he runs his business in turfgrass sod production.
Just check the monster.ca to find in what province your Accounting field wages are high.
When you get your PRC of Canada I would recommend you to live and work at least three years in Canada and then apply for Canadian citizenship. Once you're a Canadian, you are able to work in USA under NAFTA (TN-1) program.
Here are some advantages of the TN-1 (NAFTA) status:
The major advantages of TN-1 status over H-1B status are:
Although granted for only one year at a time, the number of renewals permitted is currently unlimited whereas H-1B status has a definite time cap.
No forms are required.
TN-1 status can be obtained in person at the border instead of having to be submitted by mail or courier as do most other visa applications.
TN-1 status is available to some people who do not qualify for H-1B status. Of course, the reverse is also true.Accounting field is also in the NAFTA list.
Just google the net about NAFTA.

Also can you give some info on Accounting field perspectives with US MBA in Canada.

I live in Montreal and my friend settled in Toronto. You might want to know the differences:
1) His rent is 950 while mine 725;
2) I found job in 2 months after arrival without French, he found one in almost one year;
3) My impression is Toronto is a bit like New York in terms of types of people living in there, Montreal, although big enough city, its people are very friendly;
4) Montreal, in my opinion is a city with a personlaity, not many uzbeks can be run into here, but there some from Afghan who moved from NJ;
5) Toronto is usually warmer 2 degrees than Montreal;
6) Montreal is not as cold as Moscow;
7) Montreal is both French and English, both Europe and Amercia, English part is West Island, French part is the rest;
Accounting designation CA takes quite a bit of time, if you have MBA then maybe you can get some credits but you would be required to do some schoolong again. In Quebec it's even more difficult because French is another requirement to be designated as CA in Quebec.
I can't tell much abouth other places. Vancouver is said to have the best climate in Canada and the highest cost of living. The salaries are the same across Canada. See jobboom to compare salaries.
