Food for thought -
Both of these ideologies have many similarities. 1. Socilaly/Communal oriented. 2 Anyone can join, regardless of collar, race or social status. 3 Does not persue material values, money and etc.

Basicly, it seems that Comminism ideologies has borrowed many of the Islamic values, stripped them of the Allah, prayers and trip to the Mecca. And replaced them with Communist Party Lidership, Manifesto of the Communs and Trip to the Moscow's Annual Syezd of the Party!

Just to introduce some corrections (although I'm sure some here will utterly disagree, but nevertheless:)

Communism did not borrow "...many of the Islamic values, stripped them of the Allah, prayers and trip to the Mecca." Those values are present even outside Islam. They are present in all largest religions. (such as Christianity, Bhuddism). These are mainly universal values.
And if you look at the gurus of kommunism and their work (Marx, Engels), none of them had anything to do with Islam, but rather with Christianity and it's Reformation...

Odnako ya soglasen, chto yest' mnogo obshego mejdu Islamom i Kommunizmom (i sovsem ne potomu chto Kommunizm vzyal chto-to ot Islama). I eto obsheye, vkluchayet kak horoshiye, tak i plohiye momenti...

People, a kak naschet vliyania idey Marxism-Leninzma na tretiy-Islamskiy put razvitia? Esli vzglyanut na poslevoyennuyu istoriyu mnogih arabskih stran, osobenno Syria, Libia, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen vliyanie CCCP i ego ideologii ochevidno. No boleye interesno, kak so vremenem, eta ideologia smeshalas s traditsionnimi tsenostyami Islam'a i chto v itoge poluchilos. Konechno Islam, namnogo starshe chem kommunizm i vo mnogom yavlyaetsya bolee shirokoy sistemoy mirvozrenia. No mne kajetsya kak i na zapade, adaptiruya i moderniziruya, mnogie tsennosti Islama obreli vtoroye dihanie cherez idei kommunizma. Chto lishniy raz podtverjdayet poslovitsu, chto nichto ne novo pod lunoy.
Zabavno, no tak je kak i sam kommunizm, idei tretyego Islamskogo puti preobretayut sovershenno nepohojie formi. Ot Assad'ovskoy Syrii i Iraq'a Huseina, do Irana Khomeini, eto vse musulmanskie strani, i kak oni ne pohoji!!! Khotya v sluchaye arabskih stran skoree nado govorit o ideii Arabskoy natsii. No opyat taki ignorirovat Islam i kommunizm nikak ne poluchayetsya. :-) Ili tot je Taliban, bolshe napominayet sotsializm Mao vremen kulturnoy revolutsii, chem luboye Islamskoye gosudarstvo.
