hello brothers.
me and my fellow Turk friends in USA opened up a Turan forum. we have many Turkish, Hungarian, Mongol, Kazak, and Turkmen members there. I would love to have my Ozbek brothers join us too. The forum is in Turkish-English-Hungarian and soon to be Ozbek-Kazak-Azeri- Uygur , too.

I can understand the concept of Turkic states forming closer relations and having common bonds and ties and support co-operation and building strong relations between us.

However, Hungarians? Fins? Mongols? they're not Turks and are its unlikely as a state they'd really support some union with Turks. Not that I'm against Hungarians, Fins or Mongols, if they have some kinship and good feeling to Turks then great but we shouldn't go around claiming that they're this or that, or some "Turanians".

We do not have any finns in our website neither we have any interest in them. we only want Turkic, Hunnic, and Mongolic forumers on our website as we think we lived together for centuries in the past and have common backgrounds. finns on the other hand are not welcome as you will not see any invitation to people from finland, japan, estonia etc in our forum..

we are also working on a full category Azeri subforum and would love to have as many Azeri kardaslar in our community just like the English, Turkish, and Hungarian categories we have.

also just to let you know,
when we first opened up our forum, we have recieved many thankful e mails and support from the Hungarian www.hunmagyar.org website administrators and they were very pleased that we have created such site.
unfortunately I cannot say the samething for Turkic Turan-related websites.
they saw and looked at us as "competition!!!" where we should have been united and grow together from a single root of the tree. sad to say at least.

It always amazed me how Hungarians link their history and maybe even identity to Turkic nations. Their language was in fact influenced by Turkic lang. Majority of early scholars who did tremendous job in researching Turkic nations were Hungrians too. If they really "search" their roots and think it is somehow linked to Turkic tribes, why not? Especially this interest seem to be very genuine.

I've heard that "hungar" is a combination of the following 2 turkish (turkic?) words: "hun" and "er"

just like "onogurs" which were another Turkic tribe. meaning "ten tribes"

Turk, O'zbek, Turanian, Azeri, Tatar, Uygur......

they all mean the same thing and come to the same root which is Turk. Yes, this is an O'zbek forum and Azeris have no difference. We are all Turanian brothers and live in distant geographical locations due to the fact that our ancestors were nomads.

yes, it is a democratic forum but you should do more research and have more general knowledge about Turanian nations before you post about this subject if you do not want to look stupid and uneducated

What I'm trying to explain is that, Turks of Turkey, Iran, Azerbaycan etc are only Turks because YOU are Turks.
Your forefathers are there forefathers, your roots and their roots are the same be this linguistic, cultural, historical and identity.

The ROOTS of Turks is Turkiston, is Altay region. The ROOTS of Turks is not Turkiye, Azerbaycan etc we MIGRATED here from our ATAYURDU. You are our NATION our PEOPLE, we are what we are because of YOU.

Therefore there is no need to feel some complex against us, we see you as we see ourselves, do you know how much I love and respect ATAYURT!, how could I wish anything bad for my heartland. We are here because we want to connect with our roots and TURK nation.

but big problem of Turkey is Loosing good chance to create One Turkistan (as EU) in begining of 90-s years. after indapendency of former soviet countries Turkey should be pay more attention and good help those new (poooor) states. But, at the time Turkey more thinked about EU and sent to our countries few businessmans (who often try to do Just Money. sometimes without morality norms) without One Good Govrenment (turkey) Policy.
