My favorite Uzbek song is "Hoh inon, hoh inonma" by Nola and contemporaries, I think it's "Atrofimda" by Anora -- I thought it sucked to listen to Uzbek music, but now I realise you can find jewels in tons of crap.

Agreed, man. One thing is true, though, the farther you are from home, the more you start to appreciate everything that relates to it. I think that's the way I found my way to the Uzbek music.
