How can I learn Japanese in a short time? Recommend any books, online resources etc…

Any advice/comment really appreciated...

the books i used in the beginning:
Minna no Nihongo Part 1, Part 2.
try to find japanese students or whoever living around you. you can arrange some language exchange lessons, this will help a lot!

I would also recommend Minnano Nihongo for the beginning, and then you may start SanMaruIchi-301, and then GoMaruIchi-501, at the same time you may aslo practice with Kanji in Context 1, 2 including reference books.

Short time???? If you lack of time, I truly, advise you to learn another language. Otherwise spare at least 1 or 1,5 year.
