1) A friend of mine is coming to US as a Muskie fellow. He will be at University of Missouri, Saint Louis. Are there any Uzbeks there? He would like to know. Please let me know.
2) A girl from Tashkent is in California with a very conservative American family which is not even allowing her to work. She is looking for a job and wants to relocate. Can anyone help her with work and place to live - any state. Let me know.
Thanks

If I could, I wouldn't have asked for people's help, right?

UzLand -- I have several Uzbek friends in FL, I myself, as you know, live in VA and I have many acquaintances in DC; please let the girl know that both my friends and I would be happy if we can help her out. I don't know if she's interested in coming to any of these states, but if yes, I'll research for possible options.
We [Uzbekistanis] have to stick together, plus, when I needed help, I got my piece of help (by the way, everyone who helped me when I first came to the US -- thank you very much -- at least two people who helped me with my docs are frequent forum visitors, I hope this message finds its way to them), so I guess it's time to pay back.

More info about the girl in California.
She is Palm Desert, CA and has been here for 9 months.
Her student visa was rejected in June. She has no status at the moment. She is working at a restaurant as a hostess at the moment. She would like to work somewhere where she can make more money.
