Life is bright, colorful and unpredictable. Every day grants us plenty of moments to enjoy, but there are times to recosider our goals, perceptions and expectations of life...
I got this from an amazing person. She is brilliant, supports people in need and protects their rights with passion. My friend's just lost a baby and been experiencing very sad moments .. I am quoting some of her thoughtful expressions. God forbid us all experience anything like that, but she is narrating wisdom. I hope the following might somehow help people experiencing difficult moments in their lives...
....Loosing a baby is always hard. A friend could not have put it better when she said: "it is easy to rationalize that you will be able to try again, but hard to internalize it." Even though we don't doubt that God might bless us again with a baby, it is always hard to loose a pregnancy no matter the stage or the circumstances.... I had the special gift to know exactly the moment when the egg implanted in me, because of the famous dream I told some of you.
From that moment he or she was very present in our family. At all times we were very aware of the changes that were occurring in my body and the little one took his/her place in our daily conversations, expectations and dreams. She or he was with us for 7 weeks and in that time we learned to love it as the new life in our lives. Now we are taking time to mourn the baby and he or she will have always his/her place in our hearts...
Many told us that "Only God knows why this difficult things happen (loosing the pregnancy)" This experiences has already taught us a couple of things... it has brought us closer in our love as a couple...
Also experiencing a pregnancy made me realize that many times we take life and ourselves for granted. Knowing how delicate the process is, makes us realized that every single one of us is a marvelous miracle of God. If we understood that we would take better care of ourselves and our environment. As humanity we would not get involved in wars, in stupid conflicts, divisions and discrimination. We would realize that there are great things to live for and would live more consciously.
nb: I've decided to draw at least one wisdom (lesson learnt) by the end of every single day that I live. I keep a diary to record them and I know what will be in today's note ...
