The new Nokia Scentsory enables you to see, hear, feel, and smell your caller’s Includes wellness aromatherapy and owner scent identification features.

Scientists have been trying to create a reliable smell-o-vision for decades, but no one seems to be able to get it right. The Nokia Scentsory Cellphone concept claims to be able to allow you to associate a smell and feel to your contacts.
Its unique paper airplane style folded design makes this concept a unique addition to the cellphone design arena. Scentsory would include wellness aroma therapy, as well as user customizible scent specifications for contacts. — Andrew Dobrow

e-PAPER
http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/1756/epaper1lowyr6.gif
It is a term that has been used rather loosely for a long time, but broadly speaking it is a display technology that has all the attributes of paper but can be written to and erased electronically. We can list some of these basic attributes as follows:
* High resolution (150dpi or better).
* High contrast, equal to that of print on paper (about 10:1 or better).
* Readable in any ambient light conditions
* Readable at any viewing angle
* Excellent ergonomic features, easy to hold, carry, and use.
* Light weight, at most comparable to an equal sized sheet of card.
* Robust, will withstand being dropped, hit, etc.
* Flexible, or at least bendable.
* Bistable, once a display is written it will stay displayed even when power is switched off.
* Cheap, maybe not as cheap as paper, but easily affordable by everyone.
* Reasonable large area, preferably A4 (298x212mm)
A display that meets all of these attributes can be referred to as an e-paper display suitable for use in an e-publication reader, since it is, in virtually all aspects, an electronic replacement for a sheet of paper. Indeed such display technologies are sometimes referred to as paper replacement technologies.

Description
E-paper makes a flexible display that consumes power only when updated. The design is inspired by a regular tourist map where you get good overview, good level of detail, and quick access combined with the advantages of GPS navigation.
Store your images from your digital camera on the internal drive and sync them to the GPS log. Now you can see exactly where your photos were taken. Share this information directly by using WiFi or piggyback your phone with Bluetooth.

Branco Lukic's Tarati (http://nonobjectbook.com/Tarati/)
http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/5595/taranticq8.jpg
This is the latest scifi-slash-absurd design concept from branko Lukic. The Tarati is a phone with no keys, you pass your fingers through the keyholes to dial. Lukic describes it best:
Tarati enables the user to connect with others by passing fingers, in order, through key holes. This action of dialing alone is a more magical experience and, hence, more indicative of what's really happening beyond the visible realm. ... Tarati beckons the user to "touch" someone without physically touching a single key. Its design reflects human connectivity in a less material/mechanical, more sensual, way.

The Asus EcoBook bamboo laptop (http://crave.cnet.co.uk/laptops/0,39029450,49288082-1,00.htm)
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/591/asusecobook112vq9.jpg
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/7330/ecobookoneua3.jpg
We've just spent the morning fondling an Asus EcoBook -- the first laptop to feature real bamboo panelling. Yes, bamboo -- the stuff that's gobbled up by pandas and used to construct beach houses in the Maldives.
Making a laptop out of wood doesn't sound all that sane a project, but we should probably get accustomed to this sort of thing -- Asus has already delivered the first leather-bound laptops, and Tulip does a range of crazy laptop skins for its Ego range.
The EcoBook, due to launch next year, is designed to communicate Asus' eco-friendly message. Like it or loathe it, you should check out the world exclusive pictures over the next few pages. -RR
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/9824/ecobooktwoda4.jpg
The EcoBook has a modular design. This illustration shows how the individual panels are attached to the main unit. Should one of the panels be accidentally damaged, it can be replaced with relative ease. Unfortunately, consumers won't be able to exchange panels as is possible on some mobile phones.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/3921/ecobookthreeep6.jpg
From concept to reality: bamboo is hacked from some poor, unsuspecting plant and shaped to fit the EcoBook.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/4324/ecobookfourtb5.jpg
The final product is striking. The EcoBook has a very warm look about it and makes a welcome change from the hackneyed black and silver laptops that have flooded the market.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/2184/ecobookfivepw8.jpg
Up close, you can really see the detail in the wood. Take a look at the mouse trackpad, too. It's been scaled up by 150 per cent in order to integrate a handwriting function -- you simply use your fingers or a stylus to enter text.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/4941/ecobooksixjy8.jpg
The mouse trackpad has LED status lights fitted behind the cover. Asus says this reduces the cost of manufacturing and assembling external LED lenses.
http://img488.imageshack.us/img488/9237/ecobooksevenbr3.jpg
The keys on the keyboard are designed to mimic the look of bamboo joints. The wood above the ports is engraved so you can easily find which one you're looking for. On final retail models, the large, circular PowerGear button (for adjusting laptop performance) will glow red or green to indicate how much power is being consumed.
http://img488.imageshack.us/img488/9843/ecobookeightpt4.jpg
The bamboo is natural so it is, of course, biodegradable. Each of the panels can be recycled separately, so you can be confident that your fancy new laptop is kind to the environment.

Philips & Swarovski USB Flash Drives
http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/5850/philipscrystalpl1.jpg
Check out the Philips & Swarovski USB Flash Drives which scream BLING! All models in the series will be studded with Swarovski crystals and will retail for $2000 per drive! Models include; Lockin, Happy Heart and Lock Out!
If you are looking for a USB drive that has more bling bling than a simple black or silver flash drive can deliver Philips & Swarovski are building a flash drive just for you. Actually they are putting together four drives just for you. Starting with the Lockin (which naturally looks like a lock), Heart Ware (a heart shape surprise, surprise), Happy Heart (another heart), and Lock Out (another lock). Most interesting of all is the fact that the cap of the Heart Ware obviously costs a lot more than the the other half - one that holds the data. Furtherer proving that the drives are more to look at than to use there is no information available about the storage capacity or speed of the flash drives. If the blinged out design catches your eye, the price may catch your breath at slightly over $200 per drive. The drives will be sold at Swarovski distributors and come in a jewel box.
