I hate shaving -- I don't like dryness after shaving, so I just let my beard grow (fortunately, it grows rather systematically and there is no need to constantly style it). Back in university, I would constantly get in trouble because I wouldn't shave and that was considered somewhat inappropriate for a university student.

Anyway, I think it's really cool to sport a beard (though, my wife would strongly disagree with that).

I actually shave once every 10 days, or even 15 days, but every 3 days i trim my beard with an electric shaver, leaving 3-4 mm beard on.
Very few times i styled it. Maybe 2-3 times for the last couple years.

It's just that in my family our facial hair grows so late, in the late 20's. Go to the galley and see my picture with my cousin, we both don't have very little mustaches and much lighter beards.

Native American men do NOT have facial hair. As well as some Asian ethnicities. I believe they are human nonetheless.
