it would be interesting to find out, I never thought about that
false advertising may be done by that person's name, probably:rolleyes: I don't think serious frauds can be done with this much limited info
I think for other kinds of frauds(like false billing, identity theft or false insurance claims), one needs more info than names and adresses: like SSN or ID# or etc.
ps: yana kim biladi deysiz, hozir bir koziz ikkinchisiga ishonishga qo'rqadigan zamon bosa;)
friend of mine found the add on one of the web sites and applied. The only they requested is that info.

wow, it is scary:shock:, this implies one should keep their name, adress and phone# stricktly secret:shock: then. OMG, it is impossible;)
so then question:
if smb does fraud using ur name, adress and phone#, is there any way to find out or prevent this before happening.
any suggestions?
that's exactly the reasoning of opening the thread.

People who apply for different nonsense online giving away their personal information, addresses, phone numbers, etc always amazed me. :?
If you want to live a scam free life, ignore internet ads. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is not true. Use your instincts and common sense. Be suspicious of people who want to give away a brand new Ipod or something catchy just because they think you deserve it. Do not sign up for online surveys, do not give away you information. Writing ur address and phone number on the internet is no different than giving away flyers with your contacts to total strangers on the street. Just be careful, and do not trust those poor nigerian scammers who promise you tonns of money just because you r a nice person. :)
