View Full Version : I have some questions:

1- Why Uzbek government lies about the real number of Tajik people in Uzbekistan? More than 40% are Tajiks, but the government claims that it's only 2 or 3 percent which is not true.

2- Why Uzbek government force Tajiks to change their identity from Tajik to Uzbek?

3- Why there is no election in Uzbekistan? The same guy is in power for decades now. It is not normal.

What do you think and what are your views?

I hope the administrator of this forum allows us to discuss this issue without interfering or closing the topic. Thanks

Why one would lie about his or her own national identity?

I will be as brief as possible.

1- Why Uzbek government lies about the real number of Tajik people in Uzbekistan? More than 40% are Tajiks, but the government claims that it's only 2 or 3 percent which is not true.

Because they are liars.

2- Why Uzbek government force Tajiks to change their identity from Tajik to Uzbek?

Because they want so.

3- Why there is no election in Uzbekistan? The same guy is in power for decades now. It is not normal.
Do'h. Obviously not because we want so.

How do you know Administrators may close this topic? Apparently you have been around when alike topics were discussed.

40%? How did it happen? Because of the great Uzbek emigration or because of the great Tajik immigration?

2- Why Uzbek government force Tajiks to change their identity from Tajik to Uzbek?

Uzbek government does not force anyone to do anything against his will.

3- Why there is no election in Uzbekistan? The same guy is in power for decades now. It is not normal.

For the same reason why Emamali Rahmaonov and Nursultan Nazarbaev are still in power.

Who are "They"?

I don't think anyone hates his identity or ethnic background. So I don't agree with you in this. A Chinese will be happy to call himself Chinese. A French will never lie about his nationality. I will accept your reasoning if you convince me with logic.

How they are liars? What did they lie? Can you bring them on so everyone knows?? Please?

I have never been around and now don't call me a liar...lol

It is hard for me to proof that Uzbek government is liar. Besides why are you asking these questions here? We surely did not elect our government, and we can not be liable for its actions. If that issue concerns you may I suggest you to ask directly from mr. President himself. I don't think anybody can answer you here.

Bukhara Tajik,

It might be harsh, or even unfair but in this forum we have got the policy of not debating about nationality, for long time now. Please, stay away from discussing this particular issue [uzbek-tajik relationship].

However, if it was possible to debate this affair in a real life with real [intelligent] people it would have been an interesting debate to participate or watch. There have been many discussions in this board that led to personal insults ... and without any compromises. Use the "search" to get to them.

I am sorry to close the thread. The admin will review it before the closure.

Guardian,
If we don't discuss such things then who should? Administrators don't allow such discussions in the forums and government doesn't allow in Uzbekistan. Isn't this dictatorship? Everything remains hidden and this why we don’t know what is going on in the country.

I believe the topic should remain open as long as we respect each other and don't attack each other personally.

Most probably, sorry to say so ... but ,you see no one knows who is talking on behalf of whom. The forum has already undergone those nationality testing threads and failed to show the tolerance. So, no place for nationality issues!

Thanks.

PS. If you are really interested to discuss, open up you your own board or blog, and invite the academics and people who are educated on the issue. Might be more helpful.

Uzbek, tadjik, hindi.. jevish kabi forumchilar orasida nizolar keltirib chiqarishi mumkin bo'lgan mavzular forumga kerakmas.

Bu mavzularda ilgari ham ko'p suhbatlar bo'lgan. History ni qidirib ko'rsangiz topasiz.

Savollaringizning esa yarmi o'rinsiz, qolganlari boshqalardan so'ralishi kerak bo'lgan savollar!
