I would like to find out how Islam interpretes UFOs, aliens and so forth - does it accept / explain/ reject it?

how about GIants? - how does Islam explain - enormous sizes of human-like skeletons?

I would add crop circles as well. Don't know what Islamic books tell about UFOs, but Holy Koran tells us about 2 fallen angels, who taught humans magic and had kids with human beings. Their kids were born Giants (Nephilim). This is what lies behind Greek mythology (Hercules...). It's also described in Bible and Torah. UFOs has always been part of human history, and so part of religion.

But human mentality always associated angels and devils with creatures with wings, which might be true, or might be not, in part not true because wings can't help anyone to move in space, which is the resting place for jinns and angels as described in Koran and other books.

Anyway, for primitive people advanced beings seemed like "Gods. However, if you consider what God tells about jinns in Koran, that they possess great knowledge and even used to teach angels, then no wonder if jinns are what we know as UFOs, with their abductions of humans, implanting unknown to earth science black metals into abductees' bodies, which according to Hadiths happened to our Prophet Muhammad sallollohu alayhi wasallam, when our Prophet was young, angels have descended from skies and took out some black stone from his chest. To everybodies' amazement, those stone are connected to nerve endings ! And this is not a fiction like somebody thinks of UFO or don't believe their existence - it did happen and still happening.

And I have no doubt that even dajjal will have something in common with UFOs, as described in Hadiths, he will move on earth with the greatest speed.

I think UFOs will come in open contact with human civilization eventually, and it's then when Koranic prophesy will fulfill: alien beings or being will proclaim himself as a God, as a creator, as if aliens created human being through genetic experimenting. Actually this has in part already happened, one example is Raelian movement.

I don't remember what sura, but find suras that tell about 2 fallen angels, it describes this event indeed, I read it myself, but unfortunately can' recollect suras. Those who read about it can confirm.

Having seriously studied the complex and multi-faceted subject of
UFOlogy for some time now, it has come to my attention that there
is a perspective which is noticably absent in current "ET" inter-
species hybridization syntheses; that of the ancient and perhaps
currently unfashionable mythologies, folklore and belief systems
regarding "otherworldly" or intradimensional beings which somehow
managed to copulate with human females and produce an odd sort of
hybridized spawn.

It has been my observation that people will talk all day long about

just short of reconciling these alleged beings and their alleged

with numerous non-human intelligences, Ezekiel saw what could only
be described as a flying saucer, a mobile star guided three wise men
to the birthplace of Christ and the appearances of both angels and
demons were apparently relatively commonplace throughout the whole

Yet in this day and age, we have become oh so civilized; oh so techno-
logical and brilliant. We seem to feel that we have outgrown many
of our previous myths and arcane legends on the one hand, yet on the

I did find one surrah that mentions Harut and Marut (Haroot and Maroot), but the surah I found does not mention any reference to the bolded section.

That is in Baqara, but it doesn't mention anything about children of angels and Giants.

As there is no authority( but Allah), who can create beings from nothing, Muslims-Mu'mins believe that all beings, creatures are created by Allah- Almighty. In the posts above, some of our brothers mentioned the verse 2:102 as if it tells us about UFOs, indeed as Abdul’aziz said it is not about this matter.

Nevertheless there are many versions in Qur'an that prove the existance of beings that humanity has not yet seen. As Muslims we believe in "G'ayb" matters. For our responsibility in Earth it is not required to know in details about those beings, thus it is sufficient for us to believe in their existance and that they are created by only Allah.
Many Mufassirs bring the verse number 29 of Chapter Shura:

Osmonlar va Yerning yaratilishi hamda (Alloh) tarqatib yuborgan ulardagi jonivorlar Uning alomatlaridandir.

As you see from above quoted verse, all creatures that live between earth and skies are mentioned with just one word- دَابَّةٍ “dabbah”. So Giants, UFOs or whatever creatures are included under the meaning of this word. As Muslims we do not know how do they look like, but we believe that this kind of beings do exist.

Because, nowadays there is people who can contact with jinns, I mean witchcrafts - and from ald books we can learn that UFO is not jinns.
