I have a very good visual memory. That's why in college I took Theatre design and Stage craft classes. That's what you do there, you regenerate something you see in the book and you build it on the stage. Alas, I as an artist (:lol:) I can only draw abstact (tak skazat', karakuli:) but I can draw a copy of something/someone on the paper only.

Ne znayu mne eta kartina tak ponravilas, izluchaet takoye spokoystvie, dushevnoe ravnovesie. Takaya spokoinaya vechnaya krasota i mudrost.

A vi bi videli krasiki Ingresa vjivuyu. Ya nikogda ne dumala, chto mojno napisat kartinu luchshe chem samaya yarkaya fotografiya. Ochen sovetuyu vsem u kogo est vozmojnost shodit v NY v MET i posmotret ego polotna.

Na ocheredi sleduyushiy - Cabenel s ego veneroy, toje genialnoe polotno. Eto prosto Boticcelli v epohu romantizma.

No-Me-Olvides that lady in the painting of Ingres was most beautiful girl in 18-19th century...She was the best model(now when you say model everybody think she is skinny,tall and etc...) Just if you have time look all the paintings of that period and you'll find out that all of them are 90:90:120;) May be she is not considered beautiful today,but then she was hot...

Oi tovarishi. Hodila ya segodnya na open house in one of the art studios here in downtown. There were quite a lot of people and we were provided with a free trial class. So at that very first class we drew..... a nude lady :rolleyes: Nikogda takih ne risovala. Nikogda ne risovala s naturi, a tut esho i nude. Mne eyo bilo jalko, v komnate je bilo prohladno.. bednyajka. Ya, pochemu-to, smushalas za mujchin risuyushih yeyo. No oni, pochemu-to, kazalis ne osobo smusheni :)

Nu ishqilib. Vot couple of pictures from the real fine arts class that I've attended this afternoon. Pic # 2 - the professor is making corrections on the thing that I drew. Ya je dvoechnica, sdelala oshibki :P. Perviy raz risovala uglyom.

Chto nam prepodavali segodnya? Risovat obichno s naturi; sovershenno ne smotrya chto risuesh, t.e. ne glyadya na bumagu i ne otrivaya glaz ot modeli; risovat pryamimi lininyami (model kotoraya, vpolne estestvenno, imeet okruglosti) i risovat formi. :)

Posmotrela uchitelnica na moi risunki i skazala "you could make a lot of money doing illustrations". I esho dlya sebya ya ponyala, chto ya bolshe hochu zanimatsya commercial arts rather than fine arts. Teper ishu perviy krujok.
