Well, I can only tell one thing: my family is very radical about the stuff u just said above.
Sometimes I think I gotta s#utta F@cK up before i say something stupid-stupid-stupid :-D especially when my family is around :P:lol:

Always tell my parents about anything even "something stupid-stupid-stupid". If they agree it's good, if not I wait (if needed can wait for years :D))))) till they agree and even push me to do what they didn like before. They always agreed!
Also have to tell, that they never refused me or banned me from doing something. We discussed the problem that's it. I was allowed smoking (though never smoked), drinking (though drink a lilbit) and etc. They just developed common sense in me.

Psychological support of parents is very important in our society. So prepare your parents for the news :D)))). Do it for several weeks until they get used to it and that's it ;).

How?
It's especially difficult when one is alone abroad and his/her parents are back at home. They start panicking. :?

Especially when you're soldier serving abroad. I've served with so many people like these. I cannot imagine how could I do that if I was them.
