Bikini, "yalongochliksiz" vhk konkurs. Deyarli kopchilik hijoblik qizlar. Va bazilari vashem rostdan gozal. MAnga shahsan yutgan qiz unchalik yoqmadi. Lek qoshlari ozbeklarnikiga ohshab ketarkan. Manga hammasini milliy kiyimlari juda yoqti!!!

Guys, I think I know why you do not like them. The thread and contestants do not deserve enough of your attention just because the girls are nicely covered, right? Reveal they their bodies, you would speak quite different things. IMHO.

Another guess: if, we take features (looks) of these girls and dillute them with: (a) free behavior (i.e. raspushennost i raskreposhennost), (b) uncover some parts that usually gain ppls' attention, and (c) show public their sexuality - these girls would be as good (or even better) than western world beauties.

Clauses (a) and (b) are lacking in these girls due to the cultural and traditional norms of the societies they belong to. Clause (c), I am sure, is there, however is not for public view.

When I saw the thread I imagened Beautiful arabian girls in traditional arabian style...But most of the girls don't have that arabian spirit(except 2 of them) and these girls look like between Europian and Arabian cultures...
Moreover, I never pay attention for Miss something,Miss Whatever...The reason I've seen american contestants and most of them were far beyond of the word "beautiful"...I don't know how they choose girls!

I really think though that in this particular situation their beliefs do not matter. You look at them for who they are on the outside due to the reason that it is a beauty contest and they will be judged based on the outside appearance rather than inside. And you never know for sure what their beliefs are anyway. Note: i said in this particular situation.

No arguments with different opinions...thats why it is an opinion, there is no right or wrong. All the girls look nice to me, most of them have same facial features nose, eyes, eyebrows- which is understandable they are Middle Easter.
It would be nice to see some of our native Uzbek girls and their outfits. Im sure they are as unique as these ones. Can anyone post a link, or name of website ( that is actually clean) w/uzbek models?

географическое расположение стран накладывает все же свои отпечатки и на стиль, образ жизни, строй, людей. страны арабского ближнего востока, как ливан, палестина, сирия, иордания как раз таки образуют ворота, границу между западом и востоком, где эти страны претерпели сильное влияние западных культур, начиная с древности вплоть до нынешних дней, но в то же время изаначально сохраняя свою самобытную исламскую культуру. тот же ливан например, долгое время был под мандатом великобратании, франции. все это оказало большое влияние на политический строй этих стран, жизнь людей, поэтому женщины/девушки этих стран выглядят европеизированными не только внешне (например, из тех же выложенных фотографий мисс араб уорлд), но и в образе жизни и мышлении.

I met 2 Saudi girls recently and we had lunch together. I am glad I met them and hope we can get closer. We have quite few common traditions, btw. Both of them have very good education - did their undergrads in US: one stayed here to continue her grad degree, another moved to Australia. Good English, intellengence and decency. At average each lived abroad all alone for 7 years now.

They told me about their culture a bit - that they are not allowed to drive, but every household has a driver or two. Most often these are younger boys in the families, nephews or cousins. While there is a huge taxi business due high demand for male drivers, there is also a high rate of car crashes as very young guys, 14-15, are driving their female relatives with no proper driving experience or knowledge.

I asked them about education and how free they were to choose to come to study to the US. THey responded government now encourages female educaiton and a new university was recently opened. It allocates subsidies for females to come and study thus providing financial benefits if a female goes into higher education/college. The state also sponsors study abroad and females are covered too. BOth of the girls are on their government scholarships and they do not have any committments to return and work off the money.

The interesting point is that English is quite common there. They said one does not need to speak arabic and will feel free in the country knowing English, and especially in the capital. All signs, boards and info shops are in English. As I understood, its like Russian language in Uzbekistan. All schools teach English and every youth speaks it well. Quite interesting, huh?

All in all, after a hour lunch with the two young ladies I had such a light impression on Saudi Arabia. They spoke of it so calmly and relaxed. No any grievances and/or offences. I would want travelling there one day.
