Uzbekistan is one of the most closed countries of the world where mainstream media is tightly controlled by the government. Those, who want to change this and raise their voices locally, are being pressed or even eliminated (Alisher Saipov's case). Blogging is the easiest (and comparatively securest) way to challenge this inequality.
But this does not mean that the topics we are interested in are limited to the politics. No! You can write about anything that is connected to Uzbekistan, to the life (culture, traditions, sports, etc) of Uzb citizens living in and outside of Uzbekistan.
Everyone is blogging, be the next and change the world!
