Are you comfortable with having 10 sticky threads?

I find it a bit annoying having too many sticky threads on a board. I understand that there are important topics that must be sticky (for example, about link to resources), but having too many threads on top of the board makes it hard to read.

Do you think we should ask moderators to limit sticky threads to 3-5?

As long as users are not complaining, I do not see any reason for restrictions on the numbers of sticky thread. If someone does not like sticky thread, they can choose not to going into these threads, i.e. they can just ignore them.

In short, everything is OK. As long as all of those sticky threads carry important information, nothing wrong with having 10 of them.

1-javobda "Sticky mavzular soni 3-5 tagacha bo'lsagina chiday olaman (undan ko'piga chidamayman/yoqtirmayman)"
2-Javobda "10 sticky mavzu bo'lsa nima bo'pti"
3-Javobda "Sticky mavzular qanchalik ko'p bo'lsa shunchalik yahshi"
degan variantlar berilgan. Marhamat bittasini tanlab o'z fikringizni bildirishingiz mumkin.

Men hech qanaqa shikoyat bo'lmayotgan bo'lsa, sticky mavzular soniga cheklov qo'yishga sabab ko'rmayapman dedim. Chunki ularning har birida zarur/muhim ma'lumotlar bor.

P.S. Fikrlaringizni O'zbekcha yoki O'rischa bildirsangizlar ham bo'laveradi, tushunadi Delf.

sticky threadlarni ko'pligi noqulaylik tug'diradi va forumni ko'rayotgan kishini chalkashtiradi. Agar 2-3ta bo'lsa OK. Buni boshqa forumlardagi tajribamdan kelib chiqib aytyapman. Yana bilmadim. So far our forum is very comfortable to use and definitely one of the best!

The more sticky threads for them, the better.


As we see roughly half the people agree that over 5-6 sticky threads is the way too much. But since the other half does not have problems with that, I think we will leave the issue with sticky threads the way it is now.

It's just the whole thing reminds me of GG board where Uzland would make all his threads sticky and you would end up with 10-12 threads on top of the board all created by one user.

BTW, I think I have a pretty good attitude towards all boards. It's just some users on RB can't control themselves and go berserk when they are left without any good arguments to defend their position/view. Therefore you will see all those attacks on whoever questions whatever is the prevailing dogma.
