I think MBICER was shocked, because in Istanbul, generally, when you rent a flat you rent it with no-furniture. As I understand he was not ready to give 450 USD for no-furniture flat.

You can't rent decent house for that price in Tashkent city, maybe in Tashkent province. You better rent apartment, because in Tashkent province there are problems with utilities (water, electricity shut down frequently). You can rent 1-2 bedroom apartment for $200 in areas closer to metro without good furniture and in a medium condition

I have an empty appartment for rent near Hamid Alimjan metro station (darhan area in central tash - excellent location). Previous tenants just moved out. If you are interested we can use pm to discuss details :D

look you can go and rent whatever you want in this web www.torg.uz www.dom.vsem.uz or www.ipoteka.uz but do not expect cheap prices for decent apartments in Tashkent. We just advised you. Or if you do not want pay much, you can sleep in the train station

not so much

it actually depends on where your appart. is located...
if it is more or less in the center, so it should not be a problem...

but, this winter, some of my friends have experienced some problems with electricity... ;)

But, I have 2 hourses, one at Drujba Narodov another one is close to Tashkent border ...

both were good enough to live, because no problem with gas, electricity, etc.

i wonder how ppl can afford to live in tashkent
their salaries are so low, like somewhere around $200/month (if im not mistaken) some even get lower than that
