I got admission from one Swedesh University,so I must apply for VISA. And as I know Swedish embassy in Moscow. Anyone applied before? Do I have to go to Swedish Embassy (Moscow) myself or I can send by mail? Thank you

If you're in Italy, apply through the Swedish Mission in Rome. If you are just a big fan of the Italian flag and currently reside in Uzbekistan, send your documents via DHL to the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. If you visa is approved you have to come and get your passport stamped in person, since they (the Embassy) have to verify your English language skills and/or may have additional questions before issuing the visa.

What uni you got admission from? If from Malmo Uni you dont need to pay the visa fee.

Граждане Узбекистана, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Таджикистана, Грузии и Армении должны обращаться за визой в дипломатическое представительство той страны которая представляет интересы Швеции в этой стране. В случае необходимости подачи заявления на визу в Посольство Швеции в Москве, заявитель должен сделать это лично.

Да, Вы правы.

Согласно Шенгенскому соглашению Посольство Германии в качестве представителя Австрии, Дании, Испании, Финляндии и Швеции в Узбекистане рассматривает ходатайства на получение виз для гостевых и деловых поездок в эти страны.

Значит, только в Москве или Италии. :)

But I don`t have recidence permit in Italy so I could not apply here. I have to submit in Moscow. I called to Embassy, they r saying that I must come and submit myself only, but some of my friends last year sent their docs my tnt and they accepted. I don`t know wat to do now?

But I don`t have recidence permit in Italy so I could not apply here. I have to submit in Moscow. I called to Embassy, they r saying that I must come and submit myself only, but some of my friends last year sent their docs my tnt and they accepted. I don`t know wat to do now?

Hi,

I sent my docs via DHL to Moscow, then they accepted it. Only after that I went to Moscow myself to get Sweden visa.

You also may ask from university admin. if you can get Shingen visa from German embassy and get Swedish visa from Stockholm. When I asked for Shingen visa from German embassy they told me that it's better if I go to Moscow.

So, my advice is send your docs to Swedish embassy in Moscow and go yourself there. No any other ways. :)

I sent my docs via DHL to Moscow, then they accepted it. Only after that I went to Moscow myself to get Sweden visa.

I mean if you get short term (maximum 3months) shingen visa from German Embassy, then you can prolong here in Sweden. But be sure and ask from your adminstrators.

What type of visa do you have right now? What's a difference between applying for visa through embassy in Italy or in Moscow?

Application fee you may pay when you go to Moscow I guess. We were payed by SIDA, so I didn't have that kind of prblm.

When I was first applying for a swedish visa. I just went to the swedish consulate (or whatever it's called[mind u, it's not an embassy, though]) in Tashkent. Gave 'em all the documents *including my passport* and DHL money. They just sent all the documents and my pass to the Embassy in Moscow for me... about 2-3 weeks later they called me, said, u can come get ur passport it's here in Tashkent, and I just went to the consulate got my passport with a fresh visa in it :) ... however, that was about 3,5 -4 years ago ... and I had to wait a couple of weeks

I called to embassy,they r saying that I must come and submit personally. ?Didi you call before sending by DHL to Moscow, wat did they replied you at that time.Guys here are saying that they will say like that but they will accept by dhl. I don`t know what to do?
