Post here useful links and explain why it is useful. Don't just post fancy websites that you seldomly visit but ones that you utilize on a daily basis.

1. finance.yahoo.com (I probably visit this portal about 50 times a day).Mostly use to pull up stock info. I type symbol on the top left and get almost everything I need. Usually if I need data to test somethings not necessarily stock related, I click on historical prices and download data to spreadsheet.

www.sharebuilder.com (http://www.sharebuilder.com) belongs to ING group. you can register and start trading stocks. they have many features. for certain amount you can even do the direct trades (otherwise it takes 15-30 minutes for them to buy-sell your stocks). they offer reasonable money market rates, so even if you do not buy stocks you get some (tiny but still) interests on your money.

try zecco, no trading fees and options start trading at 4 plus sth dollar per option. to qualify you gotta have at least 2500.

ON: ticker for those who use PC www.microsite.reuters.co.uk/ticker/uk/download.htm. you have to download it. For MAC users, you don't need to download it, it is already in your dashboard, just check the Ticker.
