very informitive article which unfortunately lacks objectivity no matter how many resources author brings to view different points of view
once talking about Islam, it would make more sense to quote and bring examples from Quran as well
if I am wrong I would love to hear your comments

author is quite objective about bringing the developing situation in Uzbekistan. Separation of Islam from politics would eventually bring the politisation of Islam, which could be associated with radical outrage.
Separation of religion from the state could only be effective where the religion has no values or its followers constitute minority.

Islam is a world wide religoin. it is all over the world europe - thailand, indonesia micronesia it is in every country and it's believers.
