:) lack of professionalism :
http://www.uzbekworld.com/sport/viewnews.cgi?newsid1000922840,91745,

Q: After Merdica tournament, Salkov did not involve you to the national team…
Ashurmatov: Each coach has his own tactics and relying on it he chooses appropriate players. But I was not upset when he did not elect me to the team… At a match of the Merdica tournament our rival played with excessive offense. A player of our rival team Bosnia turned out too (hitriy) and simulated like I brought him down that caused an anger…

Q: Fans know you as an unbreakable or the most aggressive defender
Ashurmatov: As I am defender, I always endeavor not to make a mistake and not to give an injury. Defenders are the heart of the team. Unexpected mistake made by a defender could bring the team to a dreadful situation. There are such (hitriy) player who falls down even you don’t touch. I can’t tolerate this kind of injustice.

What do you mean? Can you be more specific and articulate.

Thanks.

Isn't it obvious?
It's not a big deal but they should first read their articles themselves and make sure that there are no "our rival team Bosnia turned out too (hitriy)"
phrases. Can't our sport sites be little more professional?

As far as I know this website was created by two Umidie students in 1999. Both of them got their masters' in journalism in UK. Guys have done pretty good job- setting up the site and writing stories. Professionalism will come, more work need to be done. I have also noticed that there were couple of grammar mistakes.
Anyway I wish them all the best.

I agree that Uzbekworld.com suxxx, they give their subjective opinion as if they are the most intelligent football experts.

They are really good to make scapegoats, can't analyse the game but DO analyse persons.

Alijon Boboev (Tashkent): To give a form and vigor to players, together with keeping a candidate in form to fill the post of any player in any case is a duty of the coach. Unfortunately, we can’t sometimes understand Salkov’s actions. How one could interpret Salkov’s saying: ‘There is no good players in Uzbekistan, only when there is players such as Ronaldo, Zidane in the team it is possible to get some desired results.’ Did Salkov come to Uzbekistan to work or discourse?

I don't think they have to publish fans opinions, this is clearly aimed at Salkov. I think Salkov is doing reasonably good job. The game in China wasn't too bad, we know how Uzbekistan plays. Another one, another scapegoat:

Isroil Rizaev (Sirdaryo): Our trusted goal scorer Irismetov contributed much to our loss to China. Disability to use opportunities created by his teammates is unjustifiable for a forward player of the national team. Jafar Irismetov could not make most of two golden opportunities; all he had to do was just to direct the ball to the Chinese net. But he proved too weak even in this field. Right, he played alone in forward that day. But nobody can justify him with this reason as long as he was assigned to the front line with a trust. He could not generate at least one opportunity en rout to the rival’s net. We keep hoping to watch at least ordinary goals of the team just like the ones scored to Qatar and Oman by Irismetov.

OK, he didn't play good, and may he is not as good as Shatskih, but HE IS THE LEADING GOALSCORER. I don't think that Hamidullayev, Usmanhodjayev can play better, they just simply don't play better, that's it. Usmanhodjayev really sux, he shouldn't play with UAE.
Another one:

Salkov decided to strength Uzbek defense against China and assigned defenders to stand up in opposition to attacks as [B]‘Chinese Wall’ at the match. Consequently, ‘Chinese Wall’ was nationalized. Undoubtedly, focusing on defense expecting 90-minutes lengthy continuous attacks could erode resistance at any time. For the first half, Uzbek defenders hardly survived from the Chinese goal and many predicted that Salkov would strength the front line by replacing wandering Uzbek forward player Irismetov and doubling a forward player as long as this was the only way to get the desired result. But the head coach did not change his tactic and eventually his ‘Chinese Wall’ (sarcastic) was eroded by continuous attacks by China. Thus, the loss was not fault of Uzbek defenders but the tactics that Uzbek defenders came up with.
(Let me finish: Tactics are of course planned by "Chinese" Salkov :) )

I also can put brackets and criticise smebody by nearly laughing at his words.

Salkov decided to use team’s last opportunity with help of new players as he is pretty aware of the fact one more mistake will blow him out of his post.

LOL. I'm sure it won't, and it is not Uzbekworld's competence to sack the coach of Uzbekistan.

Many fans demand to see Usmonhujaev and Hamiddulaev in forward against UAE tomorrow.

Hech narsa bermaydi ikkita bir-biri bilan o'ynamagan hujumchi. Hamidullayev should play, but then we have to choose from Mirholdirshoyev/Usmonhodjayev ???.

I think in Merdeka Hamidullayev and Mirholdirshoyev played together. Add to that Akopyants. and Bakoyev (he is good and can help, he is playing in every game of Torpedo-Zil but the problem is comes to game as a substitute)

Odam yahshi niyat qilishi kerak. Media ham o'zimizga o'hshagan mahalliychi bo'lsa yahshi natijaga umuman erishmaymiz.

Well I am not saying Uzbekworld completely sucks and I can do better than them :) I just couldn't stop my self from smiling :) da perevodchik podvel. a tak esli posmotret the sports journalism is getting bit better - there is more critique than in any other sphere where journalism is involved. I hope in near future the level of the Uzbek football analysis by the journalist will approach the level in at least Russia.
Good luck to UZB today :)
