UAE’s one slight breath will descend Uzbek nation team downward deadlock that will consequently force the nation to cancel their hope for not only automatic qualification but also the second place. Salkov decided to use team’s last opportunity with help of new players as he is pretty aware of the fact one more mistake will blow him out of his post. He could easily get rid of situation with withdrawal, but the nation will put off their hope for the next World Cup as usual.
Currently Ulugbek Bokoev (Torpedo-Zil), Oybek Usmonhujaev (Esil), Afzal Azizov (Kuban) and Vladimir Shishelev (Lada) have been invited to the national team. Yesterday on September 20, anxiety-ridden Uzbek Football Federation held extraordinary session of Uzbek Premier League coaches. The subject-matter of the session was to find solution to fill the post of five to-be-absent players with appropriate candidates for the match against UAE. Serious changes are expected to happen in squad. Currently, many new players are training with the team and Salkov puts back to announce the election of players to the last minute before the clash.
UAE held light training session at Pakhtakor stadium today and revealed that they will play only for victory with confidence.
Many fans demand to see Usmonhujaev and Hamiddulaev in forward against UAE tomorrow. A 4-4-2 formation is expected for the match in which following starters are adequate to play:
