Hi, guys.
I am just wondering. If I want to invite my father to US, what documents should I obtain, where and for whom? I know that my father's viza will be B1/B2 viza.
I would be very thankful if I get some ideas from you.

There should be no problem with that and as far as I know he doesn't need to do anything special, since he is obviously coming to visit you. He just has to persuade the interviewer that he doesn't intend to remain in US for some other purposes and show his willingness to return to Uzbekistan afterwards.

Ask your host University to make a letter addressed to American Consulate in Tashkent, then ask your parents to take UMID papers(grant)
with them along with host University invitation - and it should not be a problem - it wasnt with my parents
