There are rumors that government has or going to raise restrictions on how much $ you can legally enter into the republic (to max $2000 allowed). Does someone know if this is true or just rumors? This is very important for me :)
And one more question - does this restriction concerns only $ in cash or in other valuable things?
Thanks

Kontrbandist,
you must be also like your nick says - inquiring at night time. I don't know about the gvmt
restrictions but as a watch I can tell you there are 4 things
1. bring in travelling check rather than cash. You can get cash from NBU.
2. if you still prefer cash don't show more than $300 on the papers and try to keep your money very deep.
2. try to keep your money in several places dividing into ...
3. if you are caught somehow (risk is very low actually) make sure you have all the papers from your bank, etc. showing that you didn't steal it. You are a student and there must be
( I heard it) no taxes, nothing to charge you a cent. Keep to legality then. Don't try to bribe you may loose some money.
But now I am thinking why restrictions in bringing in hard currency... . This must be a new way of making money... ooooh, shit
