The philosophy behind principles of Umid party is that there are 2 main things in the world that are widely misused for individual gain and for oppressing of others: first is political power and second is economic power. There used to be a clerical power, but that issue mostly goes away with forming a secular state.

Now the major question is to how to prevent concentration of those two things in hands of a few and how to make sure that those two things work for the benefit of everybody.

Problem of political power had been more or less successfully addressed by mechanisms of US constitution and, subsequently, by constitutions of many European countries (although there is a failure of Weimar Republic). In our case, I beleive Parliamentary Republic with limited governance and using Sortition will serve best the purpose of designing political power distribution.

The second is thing concentration and misuse of economic power. Marx tried to address this problem by transferring control over companies to the government, but it showed that this can be widely abused. Although, there maybe a way of forming a democratic government that addresses needs of the people and which efficiently runs companies, the major problem - concentration of control of wealth does not go away, it is simply shifted from capital-owners to bureaucracy. I propose something similar to what democracy does to political power: companies should be controlled by workers by election of the board and forming and arbitrage. of the company. Similar to democracy executives play role of executive branch, board plays role of the parliament, arbitrage plays role of courts. Every company with more than 5-10 people should be controlled this way (small companies do not need board and arbitrage - just election of executives will suffice, while those with 100's of workers really need this structure).

Exploitation of natural resources and land of the nation. Land and natural resources of Uzbekistan are property of the people of Uzbekistan, therefore any commercial land/natural resource development is leased to highest bidder for limited time (3-5-10 years) and proceeds go to special fund that distributes money to all people of Uzbekistan.

We believe in highest possible individual freedoms, limited government and fair wealth distribution/redistribution.

According to these principles, we propose Umid Party Program.
